A couple of weeks ago I got a call from a credit card company saying my husband was approved for a credit card with a limit of $2500. Since he was gone I decided to go ahead and do it anyways and just use the card for emergencies only.
They said there was a one time fee of $298. I thought, "okay great." Gave them my account info and everything. I have tried to call them several times. I was told they changed their number. After calling that number, they didn't answer to that one either.
I came on the internet and tried to find their website and instead found this as a scam from a guy named Chris in Delaware. I immediately called the bank and did a stop payment. So I only lost $30 instead of $300.
