This company started off by calling my sister and my aunt only, not me. They said that they needed me to call "Ms Young" at (877) 211-9178 and gave me a reference number.
When I called, the lady said that I owed $4000 on a delinquent credit card. They said it was a Chase Master Card (I've never owned a credit card from Chase, and the Master Card I used to own I canceled two years before they said I incurred the debt.
What was scary to me is that (even though they didn't have my number until I contacted them) they knew the last 4 digits of my social and my home address. This has been going on for 2 weeks and they call at least 3 times a week asking how I plan to repay the debt.
I finally told them that I felt like this was a scam (to which the uneducated-sounding individual assured me it was not) but they still keep calling.
If anyone knows how to get justice with this company please let me know asap. I don't know how many people "Capital Management" has gotten with this scam, but they deserve the worst for this.
