STAY AWAY If Ocwen holds your mortgage BEWARE! They have had our mortgage since 1996 it has been the longest, hellish, deceiptful experience! HUD transferred the mortgage to this company, a year later we owe them principal amount PLUS $62,000. Asked for an explanation they do not respond, call OTS (Office of Thrift Supervision) HUH!
Three times they never made Ocwen respond to all the inquires such as Escrow accounts being over estimated, Forced Insurance after insurance binders were forwarded by insurance carrier and myself. Forbearance plans so you don't lose your house that require $9400 deposits. OTS says this is contractual, I say its a rip-off and where is the original contract signed! OTS says "although various issues remain" they walk away, that was it. What Rights!
Ocwen's dictatorship is as bad as Saddam! No one will stop them from ripping consumers off!
Amortization schedules? Ocwen has there own, nothing to principal and all to interest that never goes away.
Checks don't cash for three at a time, Ocwen's response "Do you have a problem with that".
Credit reports, never the same. Just tried to refinance but the bank can't get Ocwen to give info even after a release was signed. They told Ocwen they are preventing us from rewriting and that's against the law! What does Ocwen care, no one will stop them they have all these banking commissions in their back pocket.
Just got another scare! Assessors are in, there goes the tax escrow. Will this be Ocwens last hurrah for us, we just sent them $10,000 pretty much emptied our account.
