I received a Bank Plus Visa prepaid gift card from someone in the amount of $50.00 The amount wasn't shown anywhere when I received the card. I looked on the back to find in all bold letters...

So, I called the number and input the account number. They told me the card had an available balance of $50.00
The first purchase I made was in the amount of $34.00, which should have left a $16.00 balance. When I went to use the remainder of the card, I found out that it only had a $11.00 balance. I called to see where the discrepancy was and they told me that I was charged $5.00 for calling in to check the available balance. It said that NO-WHERE on the card. I guess that's how they make money on them? Crazy
