My son is just now getting his life back together and was please to get a chance by receiving a card through this company. He has only ever charged $14.00 on the card.
He was suppose to have a credit limit of $250.00, but $179.00 fee to start, plus $1.86 finance charge, plus $7.00 monthly servicing fee, and I just found out that it is another $7.00 to pay your bill on line.in addition (I guess he thought protection was good) he also has credit protection $1.98 per month. Therefore the balance never seems to go down. His new balance (has not used it since) is $224.33
He is paying for a card that he really cannot use. This is very discouraging for someone who is trying to get his life back together. It does not seem right to take advantage of people who are only making minimum wage.
Is this legal?
