I sent a cancellation to National Grants Confrences in September and returned their CD by registered mail. Now, five months later, a charge for $29.95 from National Grants appears on my credit card bill. I called them to ask that they remove the charge, and their response was that my six month free introductory period had now expired, so I now I was being charged the monthly fee. I said, "What about the cancellation that has been in your office for the past five months!" He refused to remove the charge, but said he would void future charges. I guess National Grants is hoping that I wouldn't notice the charge on my bill, and would pay it. Have they stooped that low, or is that just another of the many deceptive money-grubbing ploy in their arsenal of "rip-off the consumer" tactics? Stay away from these people at all cost!
