I received a letter stating I owed $2,000 dollars for an account that I never opened 14 years ago. Letter said they would settle for $500 dollars.
Out of extreme concern for my credit I called & spoke w/Morgan Espy. She was rude. I told her I never had a Montgomery Ward acct. & this was not my bill. She said Montgomery Ward represented multiple companies.
I asked for more details but she said their system was down & took my name & number. I asked her if I should contact an attorney.
