Bar None advertises "second chance for a car loan even if you messed up in the past" Well i registered on the bar none web-site and with in thirty seconds I had over 40 emails all telling me that I qualified for a car loan.
I submitted my social security number to Bar None
I was overwhelmed with the responce
Maxon Credit Center emailed me explaining that i qualified up to 27k car loan. I called and spoke to Meghen Lazor who told me i was approved and that all I had to do is go the location to do the paper work.
I asked her if they had a copy of my credit report, which she then replied yes./ I told her I do not want to run a second report, shy assured me no
Meghen scheduled me for 11 am 01 23 09. She told me to bring pay stubs, a light bill and a valid drivers lic.
When I arrived at Maxons Meghen was not there.
Maxon had me fill out paper work and asked me for my social security number. I told them not to run my social.
I told them not to run it again. They ignored me and ran my social again.
This is what they told me. We can get you a loan for a car, however you need to pay a bank fee of 7k and the bank will charge you an interest rate of 42%
Yes 42%
Why didnt they tell me this before I went to Maxons???
Why did Bar None send me all those emails /???
Shame on you for not being honest
Beware to all out there... You really may not be qualified. Its a scam..
