A Jury Trial that lasted 2 days awarded the Ex Employee over $15,000 and his Attorney Fees of over $35,000.in the Butler County Court of Common Pleas the Jury took only a few hours to decide that Maria Makozy and her Mortgage Company A1 Mortgage Corp had failed to pay the Employee properly while he was working at A1.
A1 Mortgage was given 30 days to appeal but that appeal was never filed with the court. A Judgment has been filed against both Maria Makozy and A1 Mortgage. The husband of Maria Makozy vowed that they would never pay the money, no matter what. After the verdict Maria Makozy had property taken out of her name and put into the name of her husband Gregory Makozy.
A1 Mortgage is still operating as a Mortgage Broker in Cranberry Twp. Maria is also the owner of a Title Company in the same building with her Mortgage Company.
