I received a letter from Libbey Financial Services stating I had won $10,000.00. They sent me a check for $2,650.00 and said to deposit it. It turned out to be a worthless check which I had deposited in my account. Then I was to send $1,000.00 off by a moneygram to someone I knew.
Once the check bounced I checked with my bank and was told if I had sent the money off I probably would never had seen it again. Mr. Scott Freeman was the contact person at 1-905-781-3000. I would like to see Libbey Financial made to repay the 30 other people who also have received this same letter. We supposedly had won the money through a drawing.
