I received a letter stating that I had won 57,000 dollars from the company in an online drawing along with a check for 2,899 dollars to cover administrative fees. I was told to deposit the 2,899 dollars and then given instructions on how to pay the fees, but was told that I could wait until the full amount had been sent to me in just a day or two to do so as well. I deposited the check and it cleared and the money was made available to me. I had written a few small checks on the money that had been deposited and then the check was returned as insufficient funds to the company, placing me in the whole on my own checking account.
