My roommate and close friend was co-signing on his girlfriends loan for school when they were contacted (how, dunno except they had filled out a bunch of general loan info the day before). After visiting their website, my friend was cautiously optimistic.
However, after being approved for the loan they insisted they needed the first four months down on the loan for the funds to be released, totaling $1300. Now, they are asking for another $745 in overlooked brokerage fees of some sort.
My roommate is currently at the police station here in des moines, iowa filing a report. If you initiate business or are contacted by this company please be advised NOT to give any money before investigating further. So far between my roommate, and the posts previous this make me believe that this is a scam job and now in the hands of the investigators.
