GE has no doubt done the math on this one. They know how it works and depend on our stupid mistakes to make it happen. I'm referring to the Zero 6-12 month no interest stuff. If every person out there would be as smart as GE's finance adviser then GE would not be offering zero percent financing. It would not make any logical sense for them to do so.
However the fact is that WE are not that smart and that my friends IS THEIR SECRET. They can easily offset the true no interest loans they on occasions provide with the 21.98 % interest that in the end they will most likely collect from most of us. How they do it... Ahhh... Magic. It's really quite simple.
It's called great paper (statements) marketing, extensive experiments in "customer bill examinations", and plenty of... Smiles in their faces so they can jajaja loudly screaming... Sucker... We got you once you catch it a few days or weeks late. However just late enough to make sure the interest kicked in.
In the end, you will pay or you will have bad credit. If you must scream a little about how you have been had, dont. It will not help you.instead, write it down and try to get it on the web. If you have friends in good TV media (60 minutes, 20/20, Etc.) then try to get them to do a story on it. But what you should not do is get angry. That will not help. You must applaud on how you were suckered and learn from it so you wont get suckered the next time.
Remember if it seems too good to be true, it probably is not true. Keep that always in mind and remember that they are much smarter then you are. Or if not smart, at least they have much more experience in how they will trick you and still remain in tact. They have nothing to loose and all their Ts & I's were well crossed and dotted. They know what they are doing and once you determine that you fell in the sucker trap... Laugh a little, pay the bill and go make love to your wife (or girlfriend or gay lover). That would be the best way to get the stress out.
