My husband was just doing some research last year about our credit report (his or mine, didn't matter) and found the site, ConsumerInfo.com. I don't believe he ever received the "free" credit report, but I do know that if our account number was given to a rep, it was only for verification purposes and he was assured that he would not be charged and even more than that, he never gave permission for the account to be charged!
This IS a ripoff and these people should be investigated. I have already called and they said that a refund would be back in my account in 7-10 business days, but in my opinion, they need to put it back NOW!
