Unfriendly, rude, and false promises San Diego CA

I requested a loan through Lending Tree on Wed, 26 Feb and Lending Tree got me a few offers from Genisys Financial. However, I would like to express my disappointment dealing with Genisys Financial.

First of all, the person I was dealing with, Kara Pedersen ([email protected], 800-841-8005 Ext: 4128) is very hard to reach. She sent me an email that my loan has been preliminary approved and that I was supposed to contact her. So, I contacted her the next day as her e-mail came late during the day. All day during the day, I called her, and emailed her but always got her voice mail and she did not reply to my e-mail until late in the day when I already left work.

Later that night I called her my home and fortunately got her but she said she was too swamped and that she would call me back later that night. She never did! This goes on until the next week. I already some other offers from other lending company, and they seem very helpful, nice, easy to contact, and eager to get my business. The only reason I waited for Genisys Financial was because their offer that they show on the internet was 5.75% Interest Rate. Others are above 8%.

So, I finally in contact with her the next week, and she gave me an 8.8%. When I was claiming the 5.75%, she said that it was a variable rate. This has not been mentioned in the offer. So, I tried to tell her that I am not interested with 8.8% because I can get that from other companies which are easier to deal with. However, she keeping a certain dollar amount of how much saving I can make every month if I pay my credit card balances with her loan. I keep telling her, I was not interested in the dollar amount of the saving every month because she does not know the interest rate I am paying for all of my credit cards. I was only interested in the rate that she can offer.

At the peak of the argument, she insulted my intelligent, accusing that I could not understand her point of how much money I can save. The fact of the matter is, I think she does not want to discuss on their high interest rate, but emphasis more on the dollar amount I can save which is only arbitrary because she does not really know the interest rate of my other debts.

In conclusion, I am very disappointed with Genisys. I regret the time I wasted trying to contact her.
