Please do not waste your time, gas, money and talent on this 'company'.!!! Scam alert!!!
*Primerica clone scam*
On 2/28/03 I went into an interview for, I believed, an Office Administration/Customer Services position. I had grown up in a Insurance Services environment - My father worked for a major insurance company in Santa Ana as Vice President until he retired. I worked a summer job there as a teenager in Claims Files.
Maybe you've heard of it - Fireman's Fund. I know what a real Insurance Company should be about - and this sure ain't one of them!!!
I had previously seen bad reports of Primerica online, at this site and in the City of Corona's, (where I live) home page. Due to contact with one of their "recruiters" a few weeks ago.
Lordy - if this wasn't just the same thing! Better disguised perhaps, but there were several Red flags during the interview:
*
Pay $200 for some sort of "licence"
52 hour course
Nice, but empty offices
Many references to using several Marketing recources.
Position will actually be in Sales.
Comission based with a undisclosed "salary"
Use your own funds for many things.
Wanted a list of all the people I ever knew.
How much interest I had in earning a 3 digit income, with 50k during the "first year erarnings"
Computerized test that gives results on that level of interest.
*
This sounded just like the Primerica Scam! I even mentioned it during the phone call from the 'recruiter' a week earlier, who assured me that they "do not play games like that". Yeah, Rite...
Website for the offices - http://wwwwww.inlandempire. Nyloffices.com/construction.htm
NOT FUNCTIONAL says it is UNDER CONSTRUCTION
the same with the COVINA, FULLERTON, ORANGE COAST, and PASADENA sites.
The recruiter was Steve Nagy
Cell# 909-312-2399
Office - 909-888-1313 x 330
Thanks - and keep your eyes open!!!
