This is information that I collected from the BBB in Salt Lake City, Utah on this law firm. They are not an accredited business with the BBB in Utah. They have had 157 complaints in the last 36 months. 121 complaints ranging from failure to substantiate charges, failure to credit the companies that they say they represent in collections, failure to correct billing errors, failure to provide itemized billing upon requests, & improper collection practices. 27 complaints on customer service issues: failure to respond to phone calls or written requests for assistance or support; inappropriate behavior by customer service personnel. Contract issues. 6 complaints in refund or exchange issues.
And these are just the ones that have been reported to the BBB in Utah. How many are not, is anyone's guess.
They wanted me to pay for a credit card balance with another credit card, which I refused & the woman on the phone stated to me that I was refusing to correct the problem. I nearly died laughing on the phone. I told her that her company had several complaints on the internet & that they were listed with an Unsatisfactury rating with the BBB in Utah. She slammed the phone down & hung up.
Don't send this law firm any money, or give them your debit/credit card #. From what I was able to get in information on this law firm is that they are nothing more than scam artists. How they get a hold of peoples credit information is anyone's guess. They could be using hackers to gain access to sensitive information on past debts, current debts or loans/credit card amounts that were already paid.
Someone did say that they reported them to the Attorney General in Utah. Hopefully this law firm is being investigated for gaining access to peoples credit information & then using that information to collect money that doesn't rightfully belong to them.
Please do not send them any money in any form. Report them immediately to the Attorney General's Office of Utah & the BBB in Utah. Law firms that do this sort of thing need to be stopped asap.
