Billed for machines that do not work!

Parden my gramer i have poor english spelling.
I am very upset about this how can this go on for years.

I was inquiring a check service for my small business in november 05. I called legacy merchant. And they sent a rep out to my small business. The rep told me that i have several choises and i chose to have a check deposit service. I thought it was a good idea at the time and was told they will set up everything from leasing the machines with a reader at the time. And will be sent within a week. They had me sign a contract. Which was the mistake on my part did not read the fine print. And before i signed it i will not want credit cards ect but just a reader. And if it did not work can i cancle. The rep said yes. So i cansled it and it went to kim at legacy. I will be contacted and the teck will come and set it up. When the teck came out he got me a smal calculator type unit and no reader saying they did not have one available at that time and i was to put the checks in manualy and still had to take them to the bank. I imediatly called kim and she said she will take care of it. And they will get me a reader when it comes available and thay will fix the lease when it comes in.

Well i started using the debt card thing on it and check ferifying thing it worked for about a month at the time of xmas. Then it stoped working. I called legacy they said that no one is in. And the tecks are out for vacation and they will fix it. I also asked about the reader they said nothing about it and hung up. So i waited till january and called them again and the receptionist said kim was not there she is out sick will be back in a few days, so i waited a few days and called again got the runaroung about on the other line, ill call u back, they did not call back no even once since this date i always had to call them and complain. I then looked at my bank account and saw alot of charges for everything. I tied to ask them they say the rep is out or sick or in a meeting, i never got ahold of them then after it became february i tried again after geting another large multiple charges, and no contct by them, to complain they said that they will send a teck out and they said in a few days. I waited. And no one then i decited to call again got te runaround for a month again.

I decited to call them daily and thraten to sue them if they did not respond then someone else cam on the line and said they did not know what is going on and there was no teck orrdered to come out! I asked them again why i could not get anything to work. They said that they will come to see. Finaly after a week the teck came out and said the machine was bad and got me a new one. And they had trouble geting it to update or conect. The servers there are geting the inquire but their computers were messed up as the teck said and he will return. A week went by nothing, then i called them they asked me to download a new program and after it downloaded the thing went totaly crazy and started blinking printing supper slow a pizle at a minut, and i kept geting errored out when i try anything again, they said they will come out again. Then a week went again this time it has been 4 months and not working yet.

The teck said that the unit was outdated, i asked them then why did they give me a unit that would not work, so they

Brang a new one.

It worked and i was happy for a day untill the next week when i tried to run a check it went crazy again and said program was incompatable please update. So i called them the walked me through and i asked them why is this happening. I am geting charged for something that did not work. They said that there is a reader and they had one and i was to get a new machine and reader a teck will come out, then they said they will program it there. They took over a week to do that. It finaly came and i has a special check to test it, it worked i thought it was ok. So two days later the thing again says update so i told it to do so and it went crazy again. From here on things got crazy and i told them to come out and get me one that worked they said ok. Mean while i was geting extra charges for non use minimums from all the 5 companies that they set up. I started geting mad. And called them geting again the runaround sick, vacation, on other line and that. I waited a month and some teck came out with a new calculator and a scanner and a new lease telling me that they will fix the old lease and that it should work. This time it worked and worked till it said update and locked me out untill it was updated and after update it errored out and the mess starts over again.

I then asked for refund and started calling every company about this involved after geting runaround, i calll global checking abd by luck found a week after geting the unit there was a entry that said to discontinue all the global checking and a few other bad errors and no one at legacy would fix it or gave me a runaround. I decited to refuse payments on this till they fixed it and then hell broke out all the companies that are billing me through the bank started calling harrasing me to pay.

I told them i will not pay till it is fixed and tell them this story. I then noticed bad credit, and other stuff, then i get lawyers from leasing co calling and thertened to sue. They refuse to call legacy and vice versa. I am left holding the bag will payments and workaround payments with some changes to get the checks to go through ect. I keep calling and get the runaround. Till this date and the machines are not working at this time. Now it is december all leases are outdated and i now get new charges and the mess reenstated again through my bank and no one calls me or can i get anyone to fix it. Or shut it down! I dont think it is fair for legacy to contract colect and get units that they can not service or repair or use. I wish i could find a lawyer to help me but there is no one, that i can afford this has wrecked my expantion hopes, and credit and still not solved.

I wish to get my money back but they have this contract what should be amended to say if the units are not working i should not pay or get a refund. But there is not and they sock it to you regardless if it works or now like you pay them and i got your money and i dont care. If there is someone that knows what to do. Please help.By the way the contracts just ended i think. Unless they found another way to sockit to me which i think they did new anual fees and stuff are showing up
