In 2006 I applied for a First Premier Card Online. I realized that the activation fee was 179.00 so I decided I did not want it. I called the activation line and told them not to activate it. They told me no problem.
Now, 2 years later, I get a collection notice for 384.74 for the original fee plus interest. I never even activated this card. If they activated it they should have told me then, but they said no problem, and let the bill accumulate. Why did I not get a statement from them for 2 years? This is the worst scam. I am also receiving collection notices from NCC Collections, Micheal Jacobs, Ext. 800-848-2170 and would like it to stop.
