I just received a note from Debt Solutions advising me that I have this long outstanding debt from Sprint phone company in Ohio. They state it need to be taken care of immediately, since planning for my future can be affected by my past activities. This is the first I have received any report for over 8 years when I paid Sprint off. They want me to respond to this letter within 30 days of receiving it. I do not owe this and when I called Sprint 8 years ago they told me I owed them nothing. Sprint is now Embarq. So maybe debt solutions is trying to double dip. Shoul I respond? I don't think so. I am tired of people trying to rip others off. What would be the best solution?
