Please be aware that when you buy Title Insurance for your property you are not really protected.in 2005 I purchased an Title Insurance from Attorne'ys Title Insurance Fund. (The Fund), second largest insurance company in Fla. Two months after the purchase was completed, another person claimed to be the owner of the property.
We made a claim to "The Fund". They started an investigation that lasted 3 years. From 2005 to 2008.
Finally in August "The Fund" clear the title, paying $50,000 dollares to the other party, and gave me the property. During those 3 years the property deteriored, it was fined $131,000 dolares for "code violation" from Miami Dade County. The house is in such bad conditions that the city will be demolishing it, at the end of Nov.
So, I lost my investment... I lost $15,000 dollars on lawyers fee, and I own the City $131,000 dollares.
Attorney's Title Insurance Fund Inc, are the biggest "legal thief" in Florida. Please be aware that they will use every legal term in the dictionary, to avoid paying a claim
