This company called me about a payday advance that was over due. They said that they were reporting me to the Ventura County Superior Court and I would have a Felony bench warrant issued for my arrest the next day if I did not pay them now. I tried to explain my situation and was told to shut up. I told them NOT to call me at work and they called any way. I work for the Government. Not only did they call my work number (at least seven times in one day) they also paged me at work several times and left several threatining phone calls on my home voice mail. Approx. 25 calls in one day. At various times they were different people. When I told them I work for the Government, the guy said "well, Mr. Government guy. As soon as you hang up I am going to call and ask to speak to your Commanding Officer" Funny... I don't have one... I am civil service. Anyway, he did call my work place back, and requested to speak to my Commanding Officer. When he was told I don't have one he told my co-workers that a bench warrant was being issued for my arrest for passing fraudulant checks. I called them back and said DO-NOT do this and they said I signed a waiver which told them they could? They need to be run out of business for letting my co-workers know my private business. And they continued to call.
