I was used as a reference for a loan by a friend of mine. My friend was late on her payment and the phone calls started. At first I was worried for my friend, since the company told me her car was in repo status. She caught her loan up, however, the phone calls never stopped. I would come home and check my voice mail and I had over 20 messages for me to tell my friend to call them. This was happening every day. Then I started getting phone calls late at night and early in the morning.
This morning which is 11-8-08 the phone calls starting coming in. My boyfriend and I were just relaxing and Eric whos phone number is 877-728-6623 called. My boyfriend asked him to not call us ever again. Within 1 minute he called backed and was told the same message. Once again within 1 minute he called back and I spoke to him. He was rude and very unprofessionally. I informed him I do not want his company to ever call my unlisted number again and he started yelling at me.
I asked him for his number and he gave it to me. I called back to see if I could speak to a supervisor, however, Eric answered the phone. He would not tell me his supervisors name and would not give me a mailing address. I then told him I was recording the phone call and he told me he didn't approve of it and hung up on me. I then proceeded to call the numbers and spoke with him again and told him to stop calling me. I continued to do this for at least 3 times back to back just like he did to me.
I found another number from Westlake and called it. I explained to Amy whos number was 866-383-1796 what just took place with Eric. She passed me off to a woman by the name of Crystal and I explained to her what happened, she then passed me to a person by the name of Frank who said he was a supervisor. Frank was worse than Eric. I told him to loose the number and if they continue to call me I was calling the police. He then starting yelling at me so I hung up. Would you believe he called back just like Eric did within 1 minute. This went back and forth at least 4 times. I was tired of it so when Frank called I yelled at the top of my lungs in the phone, I really wish I had a blow horn! This did not stop him from calling several more times.
I then went to the computer and looked up Westlake and called Rosemary whos number is 888-739-9192 and explained the situation to her. I was also on my home phone with "Frank's department". Rosemary gave me the name of Lorenzo Deladillo at ext. 7231 to call on Monday. She said my phone number was noted not to call. Just then Frank came back on the phone, I informed him I was speaking to Rosemary and he said he didn't care. Rosemary asked me to ask what department Frank was from, he said Recovery. Frank was also being very rude, I put Rosemary on speaker phone so she could tell Frank to stop calling, would you believe he hung up!
First thing Monday I plan on calling Lorenzo Deladillo as Rosemary suggested I do. I then plan on speaking to one of the executive officers of this company. I know for a fact what Eric and Frank are doing is not legal. People like them need to be fired from this company. I can't believe a company would keep Eric and Frank on knowing that they are representing Westlake in a terrible way.
I see all the complaints on line about the same company. Why don't we all get together and file a civil suit against them. Let's all stand together and make them stop this!
