Filed legitimate insurance claim of water damage to my home as a result of a plumbing break on August 18, adjustor led me to believe I had a good claim that would be paid, insurance company took nearly three months to give me an answer, ignored 18 phone messages I left, and finally told me they will not pay the claim. When asked if they customarily ignore their claimants' phone messages, the claims representative (Jeff - although my claim was actually assigned to Gary Zwieg, who ignored MANY phone messages) told me I wasn't ignored, but they had too much work to do. So 18 phone messages and three months later, they finally got back to me to tell me I was out of luck. They never had any delay in processing my payments and cashing my checks, why can they not find the time to provide the service I paid them for?
