Raising interest rates to unreal amounts texas

I had a credit card with washigton mutual but closed the account after they keep raising the interest rate. I called them and they said they had a note on one of the statements comments that states they have the right to raise their interest rate at anytime. Companies like this is why the econimy is in the shape it is in, and then they want us to bail them out. This is crazy and unfair to anyone with accounts with this company and any company like it.
