Complaint / Review
First Universal Lending, LLC
This Company Lies, Cheats and Steals

Anyone who has issues with this company should file a complaint with the Florida Office of Financial Regulation, and any other applicable consumer agencies. It would be helpful for anyone filing a complaint to familiarize themselves with the mortgage lending process. Look over all documents carefully and make sure you have a valid complaint. Sometimes you have to push government agencies as they are inundated with complaints which have little or no merit. It helps to speed the process by doing some of the leg work yourself. It is a long process, and perserverance is necessary.

I'll keep this short and sweet. Some employees at this company will do anything to bet a borrower financed. Anything. Thank heavens Lenders have gotten more strict with their underwriting process. At First Universal Lending, documents have at times been changed after being signed. Photoshop seems to be popular by some employees at this company. Verifications of employment have been falsified even when not requested. Documents are sometimes forged. Fees are misrepresented. More than one broker has lost their license while employed at First Universal Lending. First Universal Lending has kept employees even when it knew the employee had grossly wronged a client. Are there honest brokers here? Perhaps. I couldn't attest to that as that was not my experience.

When an employee at this company does wrong, First Universal Lending will do nothing to right the wrong unless terms like "Ill Gotten Gains" are mentioned by a consumer protection agency. Ill Gotten Gains obviously applies to fees collected. Caveat emptor reigns supreme at this business. If a complaint is filed against First Universal Lending, Sean Zausner has no problem signing an infantile response to any agency (mainly the FLOFR) investigating this company. I can't help but wonder if he even reads, or actually signs the repsonses that leave First Universal's office. The response that corresponded with the experiece I had at First Universal Lending regarding my complaint could certainly be considered libel, which is a tort.

I read the rebuttal from Tricia of First Universal Lending which prompted me to post. I was amused by her claim that a client's "mood and thought process was unstable." I would think that that would be a determination best left to someone in the field of mental health, not a mortgage "professional." I use that term lightly when it pertains to any individual employed by this company.
I am not surprised a rebuttal given by First Universal Lending is defamatory.

If "Mickey" happens to read this, I have news for you. There is no suit filed by a Douglas or Doug Campion against you according to the Palm Beach County Clerk of Court's website. If the attorney he contacted works for Feingold and Kam, I wouldn't sweat it. That is the firm First Universal Lending utilizes to "lawyer up" when it is in the hot seat. Furthermore, I couldn't find any licensing information for Mr. Campion on the FLOFR's website and I am very familiar with that site. Perhaps I spelled his name wrong.

Anyone considering doing business with First Universal Lending should take heed.
