Company was supposed to help re-establish my credit, but just stole my money!
My husband and I had a horrible year last year financially. This company was supposedly set up to help people re-establish their credit. Since I had applied for a couple of business cards, I really didn't think anything of it, when I got a card in the mail stating I had been approved for a card.
The set up was to give them a "one time fee" and then they sent me a catalog to choose items from and "purchase" items. My one time fee was $199.95 and a down payment of $109.80 for items I chose from the catalog. The idea was to purchase from their catalog and I pay them in 3 on-time monthly payments to start re-establishing my credit.
After the 3 on-time payments, I would then recieve my "Visa or Mastercard". I should have been more careful, but after the year we've had, I was ready to take that first step to re-new everything and straighten my credit out.
After not recieving any merchandise, I tried contacting them without any luck. I got an auto-mated system, and there was no way possible to actually speak with anyone. Their catalog said to fax or mail any inquiries to the address I providedd previously. Yet after almost 3 months, still no response and no merchandise.
Can you help??? I want them reported anyway! I do not wish this to happen to anyone else. I did not have the money for them to take. We are still trying to get our finances in order, and it's been a hard and stressful struggle!
Thanks!
