Scott Tripp Atkins is a con man. He has no company, no funding sources, no credentials, no references. He will pressure you to send the wire or threat to pull his offer.
His list of excuses for delay in funding are:
He will tell you there is a delay for a number of reasons. His brother has died with 8 other victims on 8 seperate occasions. His brother has also had heart attacks. He has had heart attacks. Hurricanes.
And the last and best on is the company is filing bankruptcy.
His companies have filed bankrupt with every victim over the past couple of years. He will send a notice which is identical every time. He will blame his inability to close the loan on someone else like Brandes or Mike McGarey. He will tell you he is an attorney or a loan broker or the president of the company when in fact he is none of those. He will say that your funds will come in when another loan is called and paid. There is no other loan.
Ask him for his business license number or SEC #.
Ask him for references.
DON'T WIRE HIM MONEY!!! You will never see it again. He will ask you to wire it to Charles Schwabb.
He has a good sales pitch, DON'T BELIEVE IT!
He delayed my closings on two of my projects totaling $400,000, 000. He will tell you that I am an unhappy person that either worked for him or that he couldn't get funded because the project was no good.in both case, this is a lie.
He changes his websites and emails with a new company and a new scam every couple of months.
