I noticed my Advanta Business Credit Card Interest rate went from 7.9% (Purchases) to 24.9% for purchases, and 34% for Cash advances.
I called customer service and they said that after new review of my credit that I was an increased risk. They stated I recieved a letter in May about this (which I did not).
The customer service representative told me that I would have to wait another 90 days for another review.
I checked my credit report to verify any changes. I found that my credit score had NOT changed, and I had not negative reports from other creditors.
I will be calling the Michigan Attorney General's office to file a complaint as well. This is absurd!
