My experience with these people were the same as others - rude behavior, threatening, yelling. I avoided their calls for a while, but finally had enough after reading these reports on the internet. The next call I talked to the rude woman... (well, tried to talk). I had to yell over her to get her to listen. I told her to shut up so I can talk. I told her I read many complaints about the company and the negative report on the BBB website. I told her until she can "talk" to me, I will not pay a dime. I also told her that it was wrong how she is treating me. I started asking her questions about the account and a couple questions she could not answer - I asked her how she could not know these answers when she is handling my account. She was still rude, so I hung up.
For some reason I did not get another call for 2 weeks. This time it was a man who was actually professional and courteous. We talked about a settlement and he knocked off 20%. I told him I could pay the amount but it would be about 3-4 weeks. He said he would mark that on my account and when that time came I would get another phone call and we would finalize the transaction. I thanked him for acting professinal and kind - and he stated, "There's no reason to get into a shouting match." I said, "No there is not!" I also spoke to another woman who was professional and patient. I did pay the settlement and now can breath a sigh of relief. The debt does show on my credit report - but now it shows "zero".
