Lou, brought two sales people into my small shop and announced that he owned the company and that he could save me all kinds of money because he worked directly with the Banks and there was no middle man. I asked him if I could make his machine work with my existing quickbooks system and he said "yes that is not a problem" and "we can do it at no cost to you" so what do you have to loose? Both sales men agreed that this was the best deal and If I just signed up they would take care of everything. I was told that there would be a small charge of 80.00 that they would take care of that charge... I asked again if the CC machine would work with my POS system that I have already set up and once again he said that it was no problem.
I got my equipment and the sales guy stopped by to hook it up... Come to find out the unit will not work with QB nor has it ever... Lou Lied right to my face... When the sales guy called him... He told him that he would personally fly down to my shop and install it... It has now been two months and the Leasing company is taking money out of my checking account at over 110 dollars due to "taxes and Insurance" that was never on my contract. I called them about it and they told me that I was in a 4 year lease with no escape clause at all... So 110 dollars for 48 months thats 5280.00 dollars for a 350 dollar CC machine... WTF??? I told them I was not going to pay it any longer and they said it was not their problem... I needed to contact the company that issued the contract... When I called Lou, he answered and said that he was someone else, figures, and that he was not really the owner of MSI but in fact just the owner of the rights to the territory... Tottally misled and very pissed off I told him my lawyer would be contacting him... He laughed and said have him call me! Your in a contract... This is totally BS and now the salesman that signed me up was fired or quit or whatever but is no longer with the company. I understand that there is a class action lawsuit against this company... If anyone knows more information please let me know...
