Fifth Third Bank
Rejects prepayments

I found myself suddenly without a car so didn't have time to shop for loans so accepted the dealer's source.

Fifth Third Bank was a new name to me. I called the bank for information on where to send unscheduled prepayments. I was assured it was the same address as on the coupon book (PO box with 9-digit zip code.)

After receiving the settlement from a totalled car, I sent a check for an amount that would substantially reduce the balance. After several days, the balance has not gone down at all. After geting the bank's recorded report, I talked to a person, who claimed the prepayment had not been received.
