I too ordered the Grant Instructor CD, for $2.95 and thought that this would be a great too to help with my research. I found the site while searching for finance options for my daughters schooling, and as it was highly recommended, I felt that I had nothing to lose. When the CD arrived, that's all there was, just the CD, nothing else. It would not allow you to access the materials promised without first logging in - there were no instructions for this. So, I went back to the original page to get the contact info for the company and got a prompt reply for the password, etc. I followed the instructions once, just to make sure it worked, and then didn't get back to it for several weeks.
In the mean time, my credit card not only showed a charge for the original $2.95, but also for $49.50, which I had not seen anywhere when I first ordered the CD, but figured I might have missed something, so let it go. Then then next month another charge for $49.50 appeared and I started getting suspicious. I also went back to the CD and tried to access the info, which told me that I needed to "log in" but this time there was no log in box, so therefore, the CD is useless.
Getting online I then found others who have had similar experiences with this company, so contacted my credit card company to assist with the disputed charges, after sharing my story with them, they were more than happy to help out.
So, beware of Grant Instructor, LLC.
