Silverline Financial was contacted via Craigslist for an advertising of financial services. After several days of fee negotiation, CEO Fontaine Jr sent Contract to begin services. First (Red Flag) first appeared when he was vague on when the negotiated backend fees would be paid. He corrected Contract and then requested that I wire the cash funds into the Bank of America account of his employee/loan processor (Robinson-since she would ultimately receive the funds-it would save him a trip to the bank). I requested that the Contract be amended to include where the funds would be received on behalf of SilverLine Financial/Finance. Received supplement to Contract, signed, fax back.
Deposit Cash (thousands) into Designated Bank Account on 6/2. Since June 2, I have received lip service and numerous email correspondence that SilverLine Finance was out of money and unable to complete my transaction. Account was supposed to be set up June 4 per Contract. CEO Fontaine Jr avoided my calls but did respond via email that he was working on the problem. I requested a refund if the service was not completed by 3pm Friday June 6.
Friday evening June 6, I called the main office line and was told that CEO Fontaine Jr was not in and K Robinson was not a known employee. Was told by President Khan that Robinson was CEO Fontaine Jr's "Girlfriend" and what was this about. She would call him and get to the bottom of this. She verified that Silverline was her company and NOT out of funds.
June 9 received message from CEO Fontaine Jr that all Partners have been appraised of the situation and they are working with their service provider to complete the financial transaction. The work would be completed again within 48 hours. Second Deadline arrived and passed. No transaction and no refund. Now I am told via email that the service provider is not talking to CEO Fontaine Jr as he was threatening to them. I asked for a refund from CEO Fontaine Jr and A Khan President but they dismiss my request that the Service Provider has my money. I must wait 7-10 days to receive funds that apparently left Robinson's bank account the same day of June 2. No documentation provided, No information given on "Service Provider" other than Froto - Anthony Parker. I guess I should be looking for Anthony on the set of the tv show "Desperate Wives". No listing for this Company.
CEO Fontaine Jr, K Robinson, Silverline Finance were sent a letter stating my request for refund for non performance of Contract. Additionally, each time I requested a refund, CEO Fontaine Jr would offer CPNs, Tradelines, Aged Self Corps as services that he offers to his clients.
There is a long list of clients that have retained Silverline Finance/Business and Tax Solutions on their website for various services. If anyone else has paid money and not received the Contracted Services, you should report them too.
Lastly, considering the mortgage crisis and the amount of people who have defaulted on their real estate loans, I would highly recommend that a federal agent or local district attorney including the Department of Real Estate look into the business practices of this company. They anonymously advertise all over craigslist with promises of providing documents to complete your financial deals (cpns, paystubs, w2's, 1099s, bank statements, etc). I have a copy of their response for such services which I would gladly provide to an interested local enforcement agency investigating this company/persons.
They are located and dba: Silverline Financial, Goldline Finance Company, Business and Tax Solutions, all located in the Bay Area, CA. The offices where CEO Fontaine Jr located is Santa Cruz and Fremont CA.
