Do not apply for a credit card with these scumbags.
They fraudulently charged my account a $29 "overlimit" fee, on April 16th. I called their 800 number to have it reversed, and it was.
2 days later, it was re-applied. When I called back again to have it reversed, they said they could only reverse "one per year".. When I tried to explain to the customer rep on the phone that it was NOT another overlilmit fee, but simply the first one being reapplied, the rep, for some reason became rude and beligerent on the phone! I had a difficult time understanding the representative in the first place. He had some sort of accent...
So, I asked to be transferred to a "supervisor", and was told the same thing, but for some reason these IDIOTS could not grasp the concept of how this was in fact an ERROR, and not a second fee.
I then asked where the call center was located, to see if it was anywhere near the Chicago area (where I live and work) so I could walk in and talk to them, and the "supervisor" said he was located in INDIA.
.. Yes... india... What the hell is up with that?
Well... If Capital One deems it necessary to take American jobs overseas, then after this experience, the "NO HASSLE" card is being paid off in full, and is being CUT UP, and thrown in my NO HASSLE GARBAGE CAN.
Capital one executives, if you read this, i hope you spend my $29 "overlimit fee" (which i paid) wisely, because there will never be another dollar coming your way from me, my wife, kids, or other family members.
I suggest you start an advertising campaign in India, since apparently you have little to no respect for American workers, or American customers.
