Finance charges for purchases that were never made ripoff Bo

My husband and I cancled and paid off our credit cards because of the high intrest rates. WE paid off the balance in full, and a month later we recived more statements. On the statement it had finance charges for purchases that were never made along with cash advance charges. We noticed on all our statements we recived charges for financing and cash advances when we never used them. We have always paid more then the minimum that was due. Yet our total account balance hardly went down. Even thought this was a second chance credit card, we can't belive that our first credit card was so crappy.
