Im writing, because I need the rest of the people to know how Wilshire Credit screwed me over as well as everyone else, since I have read the blogs on this site! I thought I was all alone!
Back in December of I contacted Wilshire, to ask if I could get my interest rate "Frozen" because I had a adjustable rate increase coming in February. They transfered me to a customer service rep who in the long run turned out to be a loan officer from their affilated bank the work with. I figured she was helping me, turns out she pulled my credit (which I never gave her permission) and didnt contact me for weeks. All this time I thought I was given to the load modifcation dept!
So I called back again... This time I asked for the loan mod dept. I got to talk to someone who told me to go to the web site and downloan the application and send in all the paperwork requested to start the process.
Which I did, this was January. I faxed in all the paperwork and I sent a package by mail, just to make sure all the paperwork would get there one way or another.
One week went by, never heard anything.in the mean time, I am calling eveyday. I get transferred around to about 4 different people. And of course, I am gettign voice mail, not a real person.
So, I called to speak to the manager of the dept, and was politely told that to be patient and wait for somone to call me, because the more I called to bother them the longer it would take to get anything done on my loan! Screw me in other words!!!
So, I continue to call everyday, wrote letters to the company, which I still have copies of, and no calls.
It is now March. My interst rate is now going to ballon up 300.00 more a month! And no one will help me. I wrote in the letter, that I can make the payments if they stayed the same, but, with the increase, I will be going into foreclosure. I never heard anything from anyone.
Than in the begining of May I get this letter stating I was denied the loan modification and with no reason!
Now, I am trying to refi before my house goes on the aution block. I am almost in foreclosure, witch is only 3 weeks away.
I just want to let everyone who deals with Wilshire that they wont help you. And you will talk to the moste inconsiderate people they call Customer Service Reps!
I have been stressed since December and it has been the longest 5 months of my life and its not over with yet. I was told to reach out to he mortgage company for help, and was slapped in the face.
And If anyone out there can please tell me how to jump on the class action suit against Wilshire Credit... Im all for it!!!
Wilshire Credit has hurt some many families out there and they shouldnt get away with this. Its about time we stand up to the mortgage creeps out there!!!
