I was so excited that I had finally found the answer to my financial woes. At least that is what I thought. I had been invited to listen to a live information call for the Number One Success System also know as NOSS. I called in and listened to this call. Everyone was so positive. The success stories were amazing. The program and one-up system sounded doable and seemed like it would work. I was very skeptical.
The skepticism increased when I called my inviter back and spoke with her. She talked very fast and never really answered any questions I had with a straightfoward answer. She kept saying that we have an amazing support system. Once we get you on the website and get you started everything you need will be available.
Well I decided that maybe she is just excited about the program and that I would get more information at a later date. I didn't have the money to get started right away so I had to wait a couple of days. My inviter periodically called to "check" on me to see how things were going. I thought that that was nice but in the end I realized that was just a way of egging me on and making sure that I was doing what needed to be done so that I could send her the money.
Once I got the money together I called her to find out what my next step needed to be. SHe would always say call when you have the gift in hand and I'll tell you then. Once again during the call she talked very fast. I gifted $3500. I understand the concept of you get out of something what you put in. I wanted to get the most out of this that I could. I have worked in a postal store called mail and more and I know from experience that sending cash through the mail is against the law. Hence the reason for placing the money in an envelope then placing it in a magazine and having the package sealed before going in the place to mail it.
This was another sign that I should have noticed. But stupid me went ahead hoping that maybe this was the answer to all of my problems. Listening to the calls really gets you hyped up which clouds your ability to make good decisions. Once the packages were mailed I called her with my tracking numbers. Oh yeah when I say packages that is the gift to my inviter and my web-hosting fee. My inviter scolded me because she said that she told me to send my hosting fee to her with my gift so that she could save me shipping cost. She never told me this becuase anything to save me money I would have remebered. But she was quick to say that you need to make sure you listen to what I tell you. I should have replied that maybe if you didn't talk so fast and cut me short you could remeber what you did and didn't say.
Another thing that I don't like about this program is that they constantly bring God into this. They are always quoting scriptures from the bible to strenghten their point. Saying things like you have got to be commited or you will block your blessing. God is making this opportunity available to you and bringing up the scripture from Luke 6:38 " Give, and it shall be given unto you...". I am in no position to judge anyone. All I know is that we will each have to answer for our own actions on the day of judgement. This activity in my opinion is not something that I think God would be pleased with. I am entitled to my own opinion thanks to the constitution.
So, once she recieved my gift and I was granted access to the back office. I followed all the steps that were given. Only to find that I had to fork out more money to buy leads, place ads, and purchase websites etc. But I wasn't willing to be discouraged. I kept telling myself I am going ot make all of this back plus some when I start receiving gifts.
So I continued to call and listen to the daily calls that were in actuality only a daily source to keep me pumped up and brainwashed. These people really prey on your mind and any weakness that you have. It is like they harp on the faults that you may have and then offer to be the superhero that is there to save you and show you the light at the end of the tunnell. So I started calling people on my leads list and inviting them to join the program. Only to find that this was not as easy as it had initially seemed. They tell you that all you have to do is call and invite people to the calls. Well that is the truth. But you have to invite them and convince them to join in order to be successful. They even provide tutorials on how you should speak, which words to use, and how to reply in various situations. If you are promoting something legit why do you have to walk on egg shells.
The practice scripts and wordings kind of remind me of the things that use car salesman say. They are careful not to volunteer any extra information but dwell on the few positives. I guess that is like saying that I didn't tell a lie, I just didn't tell the whole truth. After about three weeks of calling and using an excess of minutes on my cell phone I was still unsuccessful at this. Well low and behold where is all this support I was suppose to have. When ever I called my inviter she was always busy and she would ask are you attending the calls, are you using the website blah, blah, blah. Yes I was doing all of the above and trying to teach my self how to make this work.
In closing, I am not posting this report to talk negative about the NOSS program. I am just expressing the experience that I have had that was not a positive one. This program may very well work for some. But after gifting $3500.00 of borrowed money that I am now struggling to repay I have decided that this is not for me.
I have found that I have gained from this experience and even from the pep talk conference calls. They have inspired me to go back to school and get my Master's degree and continue working as a nurse. This will allow me to truely help people in a positive way. Being as though I can't guarantee the success of those that I would have invited to the program I am more comfortable not participating. I would not have been able to sleep at night knowing that someone like myself having borrowed money are used thier hard earned money to send to me to increase my prosperity would be struggling to make ends meet if they were not successful with this program. So to my inviter I wish you continued prosperity. To those of you considering this program. Please do your research before joining. This is not easy and it is not a cure all.
