Due to being laid off from a job and then finding another making less money and having to move has caused me to not be able to finish paying them. I have already paid 3 years at 215. A month for a 2500.00 loan. This is already a pay back for $7000. They are calling me at work threatening to serve me with legal papers and putting lein claim on my credit report against my home.
They are extremely ugly on the phone and very pushy. I have been in banking for 26 years and would not have defaulted if it could be helped. I know what it does to your credit but it can't be helped. I just don't have the resources to pay it back totally. I know that there is a ceiling on the interest check you can charge and that is 18%. 59 can not be legal. The harrasement is horrendous. My husband was laid off from his job, went to work for halliburton, got hurt on the job and is on a small disability check. I am footing all the bills and bearly keeping a roof over our head and food on the table due to other bills such as vehicle and insurance for one. I have to have transportation to get to work. Its a mess. Its amazing that this company can take such advantage of the people who need the most help.
