This is the third time I received a call from someone from Anderson, Crenshaw & Associates collection agency regarding an Alarm Company that I once had service from. They are polite when they begin their conversation but the minute you start questioning the amount they claim is owed they become belligerant and rude. I indeed did have a contract with the alarm company but when I moved and asked that someone come to install the system in my new home I kept getting promises but no one came out to install. I had 8 months left on my contract and no one came out to install the system in my new home.
I was willing to pay for the remaining 8 months when I first received the call from Anderson, Crenshaw & Associates but they became rude and told me I owed over $2,000 dollars. This is absurd. I asked that they not call me again and to please file this in court so that I may have my say. I also asked for their address and the lady (who called herself a senior actuary) would not give me any information regarding their address and told me to have my lawyer contact them directly because they are going to file a suit against me and contact all of the credit bureaus and report that I owe this money. Hopefully I will receive a notice to go to court where a judge can hear my side of the story.
