We have been trying to cancel our payment processing account with them since August (it is now April 08). They have a shady clause in the contract that says if you don't cancel before the anniversary date, you are automatically bound by a new one-year contract (which has an early termination fee). Being aware of this, we sent in the written cancellation request a full two months before the contract renewal date.
After the renewal date had passed, I discovered they were continuing to charge us the $37 minimum monthly fee. When I called them on this, they said they had never received our cancellation request, even though we had notified them on the phone that it was coming. How convenient. Now, because the renewal date has passed, they are charging us a $200 "early termination fee."
Only a dishonest company like that could charge an "early" termination fee after ignoring our cancellation requests for five months!
DO NOT do business with this company! Their contracts are full of "gotcha" clauses and they will find ways to dishonestly charge you fees.
