I saw a sign to legally eliminate your debt and called the toll free number thinking this may be the answer to all my prayers. The voice recording came up as Debt Relief Hotline. I did get a return call, however, as a single mother who could not afford their application fee I was referred to Mrs. Debtfire. Once again was given the same toll free number that related back to Debt Relief Hotline.
Next time I got a call the man said Debt Reduction America and was once again given the same toll free number that went back to Debt Relief Hotline and Mrs. Debtfire and now Debt Reduction America.
Now since I was getting a sour feeling in my gut I turned to the internet for research. I went to mrsdebtfire.com - logo says it was created by a single mother who struggled with debt herself. Also said it helped over 5000 families and settled over 140 million in debt.
So I went to the bbb.org and found no listing for Mrs. Debtfire. So I did an advance search to Mrs. Debtfire which brought me to whois.net. Found that Mrs. Debtfire was just created on November 15 and not by a single mother but by a man. So now this company is misleading its general consumers for company was just created a little over 4 months ago and for women helping women, How do you explain it being created by a man not a single mother???
So now I called the Florida Department of Agriculture and found that Mrs. Debtfire is not in their system and maintains no license for Debt Settlement. Now when you do a general search of the address on Mrs. Debtfires website it does go back to Debt Reduction America Which is lead by Harry Hedaya and connects to the same man who created Mrs. Debtfire.
Now I would say clients beware for it does seem that all of the companies are linked together not only by toll free number but by their address as well. One not even maintaining a license to do debt settlement, and very strong false advertisement on the websites. If they can lie this strongly just from their hompages what else are they hiding???
