Holding on to the insurance money

I worked on a house that had been damaged durring a late summer storm.

The home owners insurance company was great to work with, and gave start up money for the work.

The rest of the money went to wells fargo, the mortgage holder.

After that getting money was like pulling teeth. Kept hearing checks in the mail, we are going to overnight the check, etc... Then days later you fing out nothing had been done. Kept getting "we are so sorry..." and more nothing.

The home owner demanded work continue despite lack of money from wells.

To the point - 3 months after work has been completed, inspected, and homeowner is back in house I am still waiting for the final payout.

Worst company I have had to deal with.
