We was having finanical hardship when we was solicited on the phone by a man working for a company called Regis Lending Corp. He stated that we can get some money to help us out at that time because we have equity in our home and we will keep a fixed rate at 9% and also we can skip a month of payment. That sound good. So a lawyer by the name of Paul C. Williams came to my house with the paper work for my husband and i to sign, AUG. 19th 2005 but guess what? We never got a statement from Regis to make a payment and they sold my mortgage to ocwen with a forbearance attacted to it. As you know the intrest went up to 13% now and the late fee is over $25,000.00. My home is in forclosure.
Something need to be done about this its not right for hard working people to have there home taken overnight by mortgage scam.
