I'm so burned out on wells fargo and their business conduct. I finally decided to write one of these reports. My first complaint is their website that lets you check your balance, but often fails to list transactions; and then site will credit to your account and show up sometimes a week later. As i checked my account yesterday and had $5, went to the store bought a 6 pack for $4 thinking i was safe, WRONG! Today i checked my account and have negative $38 because a $6 dollar charge from 8 days ago magically appear in my recent transactions.
My second complaint is Wells Fargo's overdraft fees. I get charged 34 dollars per transaction as well as a running 10 dollars for everyday its not paid. After reading up on their policy, after the first time you ever overdraft, they will hold checks and not deposit them my account for sometime up to 5 business days. SO one time i had 3 overdraft fees for a total of $102, and a running fee of $10. So i called my mother from college and asked her to make a deposit for me. She deposited the check to a teller on a monday afternoon, the check wasn't credited to my account until friday, and the running $10 fee was continuing to be charged to my account every day. So i decided the next time this happens i had my mother pay a teller in CASH thinking they would have to credit to money to my account on the spot, WRONG again! They didn't credit the CASH to my account for 2 business days, the deposit was made on a tuesday at 1 PM, and wasn't credited to my account until thursday...
Oh and one more note on overdraft fees, you can get overdraft protection if you have a wells fargo credit card, i signed up for it, and this last time i still had overdraft fees. I went in to ask about it, they "lost" the form i signed allowing them to make overdraft protection deposits, and told me i never signed up for it.
Are other banks this horrible?
