I went online and applied for a loan. When I got the call back a couple days later from a Joshua Bradley saying I was approved for the loan I was thrilled! I was told the lender was out of Canada and that because of my credit history I would have to make a collateral payment meaning a good faith payment to the lender for the loan to be approved. I agreeded to the terms so Joshua faxed over the loan agreement to me. I was told to read it over and call if I had any questions boy did he now how to talk a good talk. Talking about how the company has him working so many hours sense the holidays BLAH BLAH BLAH let me tell you Joshua what it is really like working long hard hours.
So when I received my fax I read it over signed all the paper work made a copy of my ID and faxed it back. I called him back a couple of hours later to make sure he had received my fax. Of course he said yes and continued on about my instructions to send a moneygram through WAL-MART to a Adriene Davidson in Rosetown Saskatchewan Canada. I told him it would be a couple of days before I could get to do this. All he said was to give him a call when I was going to make the transaction. I did receive a couple of voicemail messages from Joshua asking if I was still interested in the loan I SAVED THOSE MESSAGES. I called him back and said I was going to do that today. GET THIS he said please let me know so I can contact the account department to let Adriene know what time so she didn't have to stay late at work if the transaction was not going to go through and that she had a family to get home to.
Now thinking back at it how would he know if she had to get home to a family when he was in VA and she was in Canada and city lending group had found a lender for me how dumb could I be. I went ahead and sent the moneygram and called Joshua with the reference # he told me the money would be deposited in my Bank account by 5:00pm the next business day. The next morning a David Miller called me and said that the lender had backed out of the loan and that they would take legal action against that company. But the good news was he had found another lender for me and it was for a larger amount I thought that was great I could get even further ahead with my bills. David said I would have to make another payment Double the amount of the first because of the dollar amount of the new loan. David sent over New paper work I read it and sent it back to him per my conversation with David I told him I would have to make a couple different moneygram transactions due to not having all of it right now. He said that would be fine. Totaling $3,752.32. I sent the second payment not even THINKING to the same person in Canada as the first person I sent it to.
How could I have not caught that then. Guess I had getting out of debt on my mind. I called David with the reference number and told him I would make the other deposit in a couple of days. Not remembering that I was going out of town for a buisness trip for a couple of days sense David Miller also had my cell phone number so he called me when I was out of town he left a couple of messages I saved those to. I returned the call and told him what day I would be home and that I would send the final payment then. I called David on a Wed. To say I was going to make the deposit that day. He must have remembered he didnt give me a different name the second time so he gave me the new sending information this time sending to Marilyn Gibbons in Brooks Alberta Canada. But the weather was bad here so I stayed home. Now everyone remembers that message when you call the phone number offices hours 9am-8pm EST I got a call from David at 8:20pm on Wed. To find out if I had made the moneygram transfer I said no the weather was bad and I wasn't going to leave my house and that I would send it first thing in the morning he said to make sure to do that so the money would be wired into my account by Friday at 5: oopm Does everyone know that wires to an account can not be done on a Sat. I'm sure these guys know that. The next morning I sent the moneygram and called David with the reference number again I asked if he was sure the lender was not going to back out again and he said NO you have done everything you were suppose to and that my GOODFAITH payment was enough to satisfy the lender. On friday morning I was a little nervouse that the lender was going to back out again so I called David a couple of times when he finally answered after I said who I was. He said OH the money is already in your account? When I told me him no that I was just calling to see if everything was fine with my loan. He siad everything was fine and that the money was going to be in my account by 5:00pm that day and to not worry.
Well when 5:00 came around and the money wasnt there I called David NO answer I called Joshua NO answer and everone knows you could never talk to anyone in customer service. So I got online and low and behold some of these rip off reports were on the same page as the none working website of citylending.net Wish these reports would have been showing up at the end of Jan. When I signed my first set of papers for the first loan. David MIller I want you to know may God have mercy on your soal when it is your JUDGEMENT DAY.
Remember all the names of the people you ripped off because when that judgement day comes we will all be looking down on YOU and WILL remember the voice of DAVID MILLER. Rest well now.
