Even after discharging my mobile home and debt with this company via Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Greentree has continued to contact me via phone, fax, email, and letter. I have received bills from them— post discharge.By law they are not supposed to attempt to collect a discharged debt.
Just be aware that they don't seem to feel that United States Bankruptcy law applies to them - so if you are currently in bankruptcy and one of your creditors is Greentree be aware of this and be prepared to contact your attorney, the US Bankruptcy court and your states attorney general to get them to leave you alone.
