Stated that the government was issuing grants to low income families for this tax season. But during the process the csr lied about the contact customer service number, deliberately hid part of the agreement or contract information by playing music over the verification process, and after he received my information hung up the phone even after I asked him to explain to me to repeat what it was I was agreeing to. I asked him to cancel what ever it was he was trying to sell after I figured out that he was selling a false package, he hung up.
Fortunately he forgot to cover up another number, the consumer hotline (866) 841-7264 and I was able to report this bogus activity with the verification number given. I hope they are able to resolve this issue before I am charged $298.72. I have notified the bank, they wont be able to help until after I am charged.
