Claiming that I was approved for a home improvement, with a check for $4910.00, of which I have to pay taxes, etc

A check was received for $4910.00 from L-0 Tempe Hotel, Inc., Tempe, AZ 8528. Supposedly, I was approved for payment in category "A" of the North American Grant paid to qualified and randomly selected applicants across the USA and Canada. The amount of check is a deduction from the total grant in the amount of $42,000.00. The check is to assist in paying the necessary fees and Foreign Access Taxes for this claim. "The fees are mandatory and serve as a verification method and establishes legitimacy of your claim".
