A woman called about the bill and agreed to settle for $129.71. I sent a letter to them within the allotted time period (have a receipt of mailing), with a money order for the full settlement offer. They took the money and called again. A man this time. I see what they do, use a woman to lie and get some money, then use a man to steal more money from you. He said, "We need $105.09 more to settle this account, blah, blah, blah." I asked to send by money order and he said need to do this right away with a debit/credit card. I asked about any fee and he said $6.00. Told him will send money order and he said, "OK, I'll eliminate the processing fee, so the total amount is $105.09."
He said this verbal AGREEMENT was being recorded by him for company records. I am contacting the company today to complain, and will seek help from the Feds.
Guess what?
My account was charged $111.09, not 105.09. Lying little...
The little sobs lie like there is no tomorrow. They will rip you off! Do not believe —anything— they say over the phone because they are lying out of their you-know-whats.
Get it in writing!!
